Etiquette & Training Rules
UK South Region Wing Chun Association promotes this very strongly.
All students are expected to follow this code of practice, as it is essential for everyone to realise the dangers in the training vicinities.
- No glass bottles or canned drinks.
- No chewing of gum.
- No inappropriate clothing. Be as plain in your colours as possible if you have not purchased the uniform. All clothing should be washed and clean without an unhygienic smell.
- Show your traditional sign of respect when entering and exiting the school hall.
- Be courteous to your fellow colleagues at all times and show your respect when you partner up and leave your colleague.
- Absolutely no profanities are to be used in the school.
- The school is not a dating or social ground. Please refrain from making a colleague uncomfortable.
- You should always have valid insurance licence after two months of training.
- If you have an injury or disability, which may affect your training, you must advise your instructor before you take part in the lesson.
- Your teacher must be addressed as Sifu at all times.
If there are anything, which you feel unsure of please do not hesitate to ask your teacher.
